UPCYCLED RUBBER - WHAT IS IT?
At HEVEA, we hate waste and love finding new ways to make the most of natural rubber.
During manufacturing, natural rubber trimmings and leftover materials are collected rather than simply discarded.
These clean, unused materials are incorporated into new HEVEA products through our manufacturing processes.
Today, we already use this approach in selected products across our collections, which you'll recognise by the name "upcycled natural rubber".

But why stop after the first life?
What happens when your favourite HEVEA pacifier, teether or bath toy has reached the end of its usable life?
We believe it's worth exploring whether the natural rubber can be given another purpose.
That's why we're starting to collect previously used HEVEA natural rubber products while developing ways to recover and reuse the material.
Our vision is to create a special HEVEA Second Life Collection, where previously loved products could become practical home accessories, such as doorstops and decorative candle holders.
The production process is still under development, but collecting the material is our first step towards making this idea a reality.
