WHAT IS CO₂ & WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
CO₂ or carbon dioxide, is a gas found in the air. It is created naturally by breathing, volcanoes, and decaying plants. However, human activities like burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests release a lot more CO₂.
Natural rubber is an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic and silicone. Its ability to biodegrade relatively quickly and its renewable nature make it a sustainable choice. By choosing products made from natural rubber, we can significantly reduce environmental pollution and promote a healthier planet.

Tree Nation
In 2021, we proudly launched a partnership with Tree Nation to plant our own Hevea forest. Our love for trees and all things green is an intrinsic part of our being at HEVEA. Tree Nation works on reforestation and conservation projects to restore forests, create jobs, support local communities, and protect biodiversity.
We are especially excited to plant Hevea trees, as they are deeply intertwined with our brand and products. The natural rubber we use is made from the sap tapped from Hevea trees, and the rubberwood we use for our products comes from these very trees.

We began our partnership with Tree-Nation by planting 4,600 Hevea Brasiliensis trees through the beautiful Amazonia Rioterra project in Brazil. This reforestation initiative helps offset our CO₂ emissions while restoring one of the most vital ecosystems on Earth. You can even follow the growth of our forest on Tree-Nation.
Today we offer you a tree through Tree-Nation’s Net Zero Product service, a tree is planted for each order made, helping offset emissions, building long-term positive impact. Each tree is automatically tracked, added to our virtual forest, and linked to your order, making it simple to join our “one order, one tree” journey.
