FAQ Pacifiers
Firstly, you have to choose the shape: orthodontic, round or symmetrical teat/ nipple. Then comes the size: Newborn 0-3 and 3+. For babies which like a very big nipple we do also offer the Star & Moon orthodontic LARGE model. It can be used from all ages (as the 3+).
The "old" pacifier might have "grown" in size, which can happen as it is a natural flexible material. As natural rubber pacifiers are made from a natural material, it can change in colour and shape over time. It is possible that the pacifier you have has resized if the child sucks very hard, if it has been used too long (we recommend replacing pacifiers every 6-8 weeks) or has been incorrectly stored/maintained i.e washed in dishwashing machine. Therefore, it is often an advantage to have a few pacifiers in progress at the same time and to replace every other month. All pacifiers should be replaced every 2 months.
No, it is not normal that the pacifier is peeling. The problem can be that you might have used it for more than the recommended 2 months or cleaned it in a non-suitable way. All pacifiers should be replaced at least every 2 months for hygienic reasons – like toothbrushes. In order to ensure proper hygiene, the pacifier should be cleaned by hand or in machines especially suitable for this, and must not be cleaned in a dishwasher or microwave (unless use of relevant sterilising box). The pacifier can be sterilized in boiling water. We suggest you stop using it if peeling and replace it with a new one. It is also a good idea to use more than one pacifier at a time, in that way your pacifier will not wear out as fast and will last longer.
It is very individual and varies a lot from culture to culture, from parent to parent and of course from child to child. We recommend stopping using pacifiers no later than 3 years. And did you know that we actually can upcycle them and reuse and you can save money - read more here: https://heveaplanet.com/upcycling/
The pacifier can be disposed of as organic waste. However, you can also send us your old pacifiers and receive a discount on your next purchase here at our webshop. We hate waste but we love upcycling. Read more here: https://heveaplanet.com/upcycling/

FAQ Bath toys
The bathing toys should be cleaned by hand or in a machine especially suitable for rubber. They should not be washed in a dishwasher. For a more natural approach to cleaning your bath toys, use vinegar. Mix four parts white vinegar to one part warm water. Submerge the toys completely or apply the solution to each toy with a sponge.
When the bathing toy is not in use, dry it and keep in a clean and dry place, out of direct sunlight and heat. Produced from 100% natural rubber latex.

The black spots, which might be mould spots (we don't know as we haven't seen it), can only appear if the bath toy has been wet/ moist for a longer period and not dried after use. However, we trust that you might be able to clean the mould off. Vinegar is a wonderful natural disinfectant and is safer than bleach. Please mix 1/2 cup of white vinegar with a gallon of water and let the toys soak for an hour. Scrub the toys down with a sponge and let them dry completely. This should help and if not all the moulding is released, please repeat the treatment.
FAQ Panda Teether
The oil is made from vegetables and is harmless. We added it for the products not to dry out. You need to sterilize the teether before use, as stated in the instructions and with the Panda, you can just do it with plain boiling water. Dry it off and it is ready for use.
It has been used for long or maintained incorrectly, it might start to degrade. You should stop using it if it is starting to break but otherwise it is safe to use.
You can boil the Panda teether to sterilize or use a machine specially made for sterilization. It should NOT be cleaned in a dishwasher or microwave. The teether should be kept in a clean, dry place out of direct sunlight or contact with a source of direct heat in order to last longer. Due to natural rubber being an all natural material it can darken in colour over time. If there are splits or changes in the teether, it should be discarded. Very few children are allergic to natural rubber, however watch out for any allergic reactions, and stop any use if an allergic reaction should occur because of using the teether.
We don't recommend to freeze the Panda teether or any teether as it is far too cold for baby’s mouth. You can put it in the fridge to make it cooler.

FAQ Nipple
They should fit standard neck bottles. But we can unfortunately not guarantee that they fit the ones you have - we only know so far that they fit ours.
The size of the hole in the nipple teat (which isn't easy to see with the eye) will determine the flow of the liquid (water/ milk/ tea) and is smaller for the slow and bigger for medium. We have chosen to do 2 sizes for smaller babies and for simply liquid (no thicker liquid) as the bottle isn't big. The sizing is a jungle and only really is important for the small babies i.e. that they don't get too much in one go. So, we kept it simple with just offer a smaller bottle and with 2 sizes. Also, we have engraved “Slow” and Medium” on the product.
Yes, they, the slow and medium ones, are anti colic. The ventilation valve in the feeding nipples is to allow air to enter the bottle while the baby is drinking without the need to break the baby's suction during feeding. During drinking, the integrated valve in the nipple flexes to allow air into the bottle to prevent vacuum build up and vents the air to the back of the bottle.
FAQ Placemat
Yes, due to the 4 suction cups on the back of the mat, it is kept in place.
Yes, it fits most highchairs and it is also useful “on the go” as it can be folded.
