Pacifier Newborn 0+ Months Two-Pack - Symmetrical

The HEVEA® Symmetrical Teat Pacifier Two-Pack combines the naturally soft feel of natural rubber with thoughtful Danish design, creating a lovely everyday companion for your newborn.

Specially designed for newborns aged 0–3 months, these pacifiers are made from natural rubber latex derived from the Hevea brasiliensis tree, a renewable, plant-derived raw material.

Each pacifier features a soft, flexible symmetrical teat, a seamless one-piece construction and HEVEA's signature butterfly-shaped shield with playful ventilation openings.

Why choose a symmetrical teat?

The symmetrical teat features a gently flattened shape that is the same on both sides, allowing it to be positioned either way up in your baby's mouth.

Unlike a traditional round teat, which has a cherry-shaped profile, or an orthodontic teat, which has an asymmetrical shape, the symmetrical teat offers a flatter, balanced design.

Its shape makes it a practical option for everyday soothing, particularly during those precious first months when your little one is discovering their own preferences.

Every baby is different, and choosing between a symmetrical, round or orthodontic teat often comes down to your newborn's individual preference.

Extra soft and flexible

A small ventilation hole in the teat allows air to move in and out as your baby sucks, helping the teat gently compress and adapt to the sucking movement.

This gives the teat its soft, flexible feel against your baby's gums.

Seamless one-piece design

HEVEA pacifiers feature a seamless, one-piece construction without unnecessary joints or hard-to-reach crevices, making them easy to clean and care for.

Natural or coloured – what's the difference?

Whether you prefer the classic natural rubber shade or one of HEVEA's beautiful colours, both versions are made from natural rubber latex derived from the Hevea brasiliensis tree.

The natural version showcases the characteristic shade of natural rubber, while our coloured pacifiers contain carefully selected colour pigments incorporated during manufacturing.

According to our manufacturer's declaration, the colour pigments used in HEVEA's coloured pacifiers are listed under US FDA regulation 21 CFR §178.3297.

Both versions retain the naturally soft and flexible characteristics of natural rubber.

Care and replacement

For hygiene reasons, HEVEA recommends replacing pacifiers every 6–8 weeks, depending on use and care.

Always inspect the pacifier carefully before each use, pulling the teat in all directions. Discard it immediately at the first signs of damage or weakness, even if it has been used for less than six weeks.

Always follow the cleaning and sterilisation instructions supplied with the product.

• Sterilization: Before first use, and regularly for ongoing hygiene, sterilize the pacifier by soaking it in a bowl of freshly boiled water for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool completely and squeeze out any trapped water from the teat before giving it to your child.
• Daily Cleaning: Clean regularly with warm water and mild soap. Do not clean in a dishwasher or microwave sterilizer, as high heat and harsh detergents will break down the natural rubber material.
• Maintenance: Always inspect the pacifier before each use by pulling the teat gently in all directions. In accordance with international safety standards, replace the pacifier every 6–8 weeks for hygiene and safety reasons, or immediately if any signs of wear, splits, or stickiness appear.
