HEVEA is now a Certified B Corp!

For those who may be new to the world of B Corp, allow us to share…

Certified B Corporations™, or B Corps™ , are for-profit companies that use the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy, meeting high standards of social and environmental impact.

We went through a rigorous process that took over 18 months to complete our certification. It requires showing lots of evidence and actually doing the things you say you do! We don’t just talk the talk - We walk the walk!

With this certification, we are now officially part of a global movement of people using business as a force for good™.

B Corporation™ plays host to a community of over 7,350 businesses globally, including Patagonia, Pukka, Ben & Jerry, Too Good To Go, Innocent and The Body Shop, among many other remarkable companies, and we can’t wait to do more together! There are 95 of us in the Nordics. See the full and updated list of B Corps here.

“We are delighted to welcome HEVEA to the B Corp community. This is a movement of companies who are committed to changing how business operates and believe business really can be a force for good. We know that HEVEA is going to be a fantastic addition to the community and will continue driving the conversation forward”.
Chris Turner, Executive Director, B Lab

At HEVEA, we wanted to become a B Corp brand to show that purpose, people and planet mean more to us than profit. With giving back and sustainability at the heart of what we do, we're so pleased to have our work backed up by something as respected as a B Corp Certification.
Our ethical and responsible approach to what we feel is a must in business and retail, especially when it comes to products for children, puppies and other vulnerable individuals, who does not necessarily choose the products themselves. This only reinforces why this certification is so incredibly meaningful to us at HEVEA.

"I am so thrilled that HEVEA has become a certified B Corp! I set the business up thirteen years ago with sustainability and impact at the heart of it, and to have received this accreditation is a huge achievement that my team and I are incredibly proud of.

It’s been a long and thorough process, but we are so delighted to have received the certification. The process has made a lot of the good we are doingclear, but it has also illustrated that there is room for improvement and a need for more documentation. We will start working on these areas today, so we can be even better tomorrow – all for the benefit of the planet and the future generations!

Being certified as a B Corp is definitely one of the biggest achievements for us as a business and really adds credibility to everything we’re doing at HEVEA, to have a positive social and environmental impact in the world from day one. It’s a challenging process and is definitely one of the biggest achievements for HEVEA. It has taken us nearly 18 months to get to this point as the B Corp assessment covers every aspect of the business. Being a B Corp brand means the world. It adds credibility to everything we’re trying to do, providing a natural alternative to plastic from day one.We have a lot of exciting ideas and projects in the works for 2022, and in the years ahead, and this just ignites us all even more.”
